A devastating winter storm swept through Kentucky on January 24-25, 2026, resulting in at least 11 confirmed deaths. The victims ranged in age from 48 to 78 years old, spread across multiple counties including Whitley, Morgan, Jefferson, Pulaski, Graves, Daviess, Johnson, Owen, and Livingston counties. Causes of death included hypothermia, falls on ice, and at least one heart attack.
