• QR code-based exploration and rewards system
• AI-powered recommendations for discovering Kentucky
• Business partner tools for promotion and analytics
• Community features for sharing experiences

3. User Accounts

Explorer Accounts

You may explore our platform using an anonymous Explorer ID without creating an account. This ID is stored in your browser and can be cleared at any time.

Business Partner Accounts

Business partners must provide accurate, current, and complete information when registering. You are responsible for:

• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access
• Ensuring your business information is accurate and up-to-date

4. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree NOT to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state your affiliation
• Post false, misleading, or defamatory content about businesses or individuals
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or other users' accounts
• Use the Service for any form of spam, fraud, or deceptive practices
• Scrape, copy, or redistribute our content without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
• Create fake reviews, ratings, or engagement metrics

5. Business Partner Terms

Membership Tiers

Business partners may subscribe to various membership tiers with different features and pricing. Current tier options and pricing are displayed on our membership page and may change with notice.

Payment Terms

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled
• You may cancel your subscription at any time
• Refunds are provided at our discretion for annual plans cancelled within 30 days

Business Listings

By listing your business, you represent that:

• You are authorized to represent the business
• All information provided is accurate and complete
• You have rights to any photos or content you upload
• Your business operates legally in Kentucky

6. Content & Intellectual Property

Our Content

The Service and its original content (excluding user-submitted content), features, and functionality are owned by You + Me Kentucky and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Your Content

When you submit content to our platform (business descriptions, photos, reviews), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with the Service. You retain ownership of your content.

Data Usage

Information from public sources (OpenStreetMap, government databases, etc.) is used in accordance with their respective licenses. We attribute sources appropriately.

7. QR Codes & Explorer Program

Our QR code and Explorer points system is for entertainment and engagement purposes. Points and badges have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for money. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Explorer program at any time.

Attempting to manipulate the system through fake scans, automated scripts, or other fraudulent means will result in account termination.

8. AI-Powered Features

Our Service includes AI-powered recommendations and chat features. While we strive for accuracy, AI-generated content:

• May occasionally contain errors or outdated information
• Should not be relied upon for critical decisions (health, safety, legal)
• Is provided "as-is" without warranties of accuracy
• Should be verified with businesses directly for current information

9. Disclaimers

The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. We make no warranties, expressed or implied, regarding:

• The accuracy of business listings or user-submitted content
• The quality, safety, or legality of listed businesses
• Uninterrupted or error-free operation of the Service
• The reliability of AI-generated recommendations

We are a directory and discovery platform. We do not endorse, guarantee, or assume liability for any business listed on our platform.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, You + Me Kentucky shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from:

• Your use or inability to use the Service
• Any conduct or content of third parties on the Service
• Unauthorized access to or alteration of your data
• Interactions with businesses discovered through our platform

11. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including breach of these Terms. Upon termination:

• Your right to use the Service will immediately cease
• Business partner listings may be removed
• No refunds will be provided for the current billing period
• Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Kentucky, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Kentucky.

13. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
